This popped up in my inbox. So many different prop anti foul products come up on this forum, and then they are found to be rubbish. Has this one been tested here before ? It comes in a spray can, so it’s got to be good, right?‍♂️

Or substitute diving gear for a prop hatch...;)

I do use TK Line clear antifoul in a spray can on my prop, can says it last for 3months... I reckon that’s about right.... so I then resort to scrappers come June time, and then every couple of months to keep prop clean & efficient thereafter... but is easy when you don’t have to get immersed to do it!

I thought they only had those on canal boats
and quite a number of lifeboats. It’s a shame boatbuilders don’t go to the expense to build them into more boat hulls of today, especially of seaworthy handbuilt boats like Seaward & Dale for example..But all down to cost. It’s not quite like a weed hatch on a canal boat, but very much a similar format. The 25kg block of grp that fills the void is the main difference.
