Hi, Depends on whether they are direct or indirect injection, my guess is slightly more than 12 gallons per hour.
I know that this is a bit cheeky, but my boat on sale (see site below) offers more space for less money and Antibes is a lot more pleasant to live on board than "slightly North of...
MMMmmmm......Maybe I'm biased, but anyone who looks at Aquarius and the price will buy her, flight or no flight reimbursed ! Anyway, I have reduced her in price to a fixed £20.000 rather than a €35.000 ono, so lots of flights can by bought with the saving !!!
Thanks for your comment.
Thanks for your suggestions (and the compliments - glad to see you liked the work done on her !)
I haven't received the letter you mention but spoke to Brigitte and Carlo in the Capitainerie about the berth sale issue who informed me about the problems (all down the coast I remember) although...
I bought my boat in Italy second hand around 10 years ago (that's her for sale now below) and I had no problems at all. As said, just make sure you get a VAT certificate and then you would want to delist from the Italian Registery Books (RINA) but the broker can easily and cheaply do this, and...
At least I think she is, but I'm open to comments...!
Having spent a small fortune overhauling Aquarius and after many years of happy use I have to sell her. The long drive to the SofF, 2 little kids and a bit of seasickness just don't mix and we are not using her enough. Last time we were out...

I'm looking for as basic (read cheap...) as possible a Plotter for Aquarius. My electronics knowledge is limited so I am looking for something which is "Plug and play" rather than software I have to load onto a PDA or PC or similar. I would use the plotter 50% on the fly bridge and 50% inside so...
Re: Dubious advice
For what its worth, Italian maritime regulations state that you have to have a "radar reflector" fitted. No one in authority could decide what was a decent reflector so no specification was given. I know of two sailors who have stuck a Euro coin to the hull and swear to the...
Sounds interesting, does this not bleach the whole area as perhaps lemon juice would and I would then find myself with a slightly larger, slightly less visible stain ?
I've actually never polished the teak. Would it perhaps have come pretreated ?
If I when I manage to remove the stain, what is the best way to treat it. I assumed cabin varnish, although someone mentioned a new product called "Patina", if anybody has heard of it ?
Thanks
I have an untreated teak faced surface in the cabin and over the winter an electrician left a wet cup on the teak which now has an unpleasant white ring on it....
Other than a) shouting at the electrician b) varnishing the surface what can I do ? I could only think of sanding down...
