I need to replace my head lining as it's either fallen off or peeled away. The pieces that have come off have left a black horrible residue that won't wash off and I can't sand due to surface. Anyone any suggestions short of a blow torch. Many thanks Andy

Thinking of treating myself to a pair of these in the January sales. I can't justify buying some for double the price plus there seems to be a lot of negative comments about quality lately regarding some of the big name brands. Anybody any experience of these boots. Cheers Andy

Had an outboard insured with them which was stolen. Dealt with and money in bank within week.

I have a Standard Horizon HX300 handheld which has worked well since I got it. Recently however, when I select DW, the display seems to be scanning so quickly that it just looks like the number 88 constantly flickering. Anybody had anything similar and if so, is there a fix? Cheers Andy

Resistance bands are great and takes up no space

I fitted my CDH in the engine bay as well but having looked at the quality of the ducting and jubilee clips that came with it, replaced the whole lot with decent quality. Not had a problem in 3 years.

Have a look at a tomahawk 25 as a first cruiser

Installed one on my boat 2 years ago and it's been brilliant. Common sense said bin the exhaust, some of the ducting and fittings and get marine grade. If you can't work that out for yourself you really shouldn't be out on your own.

The first time I did a service, I forgot to cl9se the bleed screw at the bottom of the glass bowl on the primary. Spent ages pumping air until a mate said "You did tighten etc"
