For a few years Yeoman Plotters produced an amazing gadget called the Yeoman Tide
Computer. In a box the size of a VHS cassette it could calculate the course to steer
allowing for tidal streams for anywhere in north west Europe as well as having tide
times and heights for hundreds of ports for the next seventy or so years. Mine has
given up the ghost and Yeoman don’t how to repair it as it was made for them by a
company called Sayrosa. Does anyone know where I might find someone who could
bring it back to life or who has one they don’t require?
