XM Offshore Suit - any good???

I bought one in Ardferns end of season sale back in August but it has not been really tested yet. They had HL at a similar discounted price but this seemed better cut and put together for my build with freer movement. I can report that it is comfortable, not too hot and easy to move in except for the high collar, which I am just not used to, but all 'offshore' jackets seem to have this feature.
I now know what a horse feels like in blinkers.

Second the trouser size. Essential to try them for size, particularly your ability to release your trouser snake when fully clothed - consider it while holding onto the back stay at the same time! I ended up with XXL instead of my previous L.

Such modesty!!!

Yes agree with sizings.I have XXL XM offshores, I'm medium build 6'. Wife 5' 8" has XL. Had them 4-5 years perform very well, comfortable, good breathability, pretty durable. Excellent value for money esp if you can get them on a discount offer.

First Mates jacket developed a wet right arm syndrome, apart from that and what she calls the "Gorilla" velcro which stops her opening the pockets with her little hands, its been fine.

Three years of frequent use before it leaked, and it was a Boat Show special deal.

I bought the XM Ocean suit 4 years ago and it has been very good. Watch the sizes as I had to go up an extra size for the trousers to allow movement.
I had the exact opposite experience. Had to exchange the salopettes for a smaller size.

Ive been very pleased with the suit though.
