Bit of advice where to take a boat as close as possible to dry out/clean near Wrabness.
I've got a friends boat I'd like to clean. - He sadly passed away last year but his boat remains. The family are non boaters and it's got a hairy bottom.
I think as a good will gesture I might like to clean it up, first plan was just to do it at low water with a basic scrape over but I suppose a better idea would be to jet wash it and if time/weather allowed a coat of something. It's a triple keel on a drying mooring.
Moreover the family might want to use the boat with their children and I think the 19' Fantasie that it is for the going forward it creates might be zeroed by the growth on it, secondly it's adding more weight and stress all round to the boat/mooring.
Thoughts welcome, thank you.
Oh and if anyone knows of old sails /bit's bob's for this boat I know they'd be welcome.
