Worst yachting Xmas cards

Which were the most tasteless or commercial Christmas cards from yachting firms and organizations this year? Maybe the winner is Blakes Paints. Father Christmas and reindeer heading for the yacht harbour. He has a bag bulging with ugly tins of antifouling, primers and other sweet smelling gifts! In case you do't get the message, Blakes includes their technical recommendations.
Then we have the Volvo Ocean race. The picture has nothing to do with the race or Christmas - very odd! It is signed by Kevin, Spud, Lara, Sharon, Lizzie and all the others who you have never heard of. Yuk!.
Surprisingly a bad offender is the RYA - none other! Again those signed names of nonentities - or anyway unknowns. And PR text plastered inside and outside the card how great the RYA is. How not to win friends and influence sailors!!

There must have been more than one style of RYA card because mine had details of the John Merrcik Sailing Trust on the outside and I actually know who signed it!

Who's John Merrick?

He won a silver medal at the 96 Olympics and was killed a few years later in a car crash whilst travelling with the international sailng team. A sad loss.
