Just wondering - how long it will take for someone to answer the following question correctly

Seven different teams have won the World Cup at least once. Name the only one that did not win its first World Cup at home (or within a stone's throw of home, in one case).

Indeed (I am counting Germany winning at Wankdorf Stadium in Bern as being at home) - too easy I suppose.

does anyone have something more challenging?

Re: World Cup Trivia trick question

It's the london borough of lambeth - so waste paper colection is on the same day as normal rubbish collection, every week. The waste paper is to be bundled into orange-coloured plastic bags, supplied free in packets of erm,erm is it 30, Colin?

Re: World Cup Trivia trick question

Here's one that came from the commentary of one of the games:-

Which are the only two countries in this World Cup whose entire squad play for local teams?

tcm\'s a thickie - it\'s official

As it appens, Upper Norwood, where cup was found, is actually in London Borough of Croydon. Looks like you won't be on my team in the next years boat show pub quiz.

Anyways, sorry for thread drift. Back to football trivia. How many bottles of Bud did I down during the Poland / Germany game?
