One thing I can guarantee is that it will be a very slow soft eye - but I WILL practice - I have done one in less than 20 mins before now.

Has anyone got any new braid on braid?
It needs to be about 12 to 16 mm dia and at least 3 metres long.
The stuf I've got is a bit old - its been on the boat for a couple of seasons and the inner core has expanded a bit.
I can still make a soft eye with it but it is taking me a long time and I'm evaporating doing it!!
If none of you have any - dont worry - you can just laugh at the struggle.

It wont work with the old rope I've got.
I'll see if I can get some new before the meeting but I dont think I'll get a chance.

Anyone got some - must be new (unused) though - old stuff tends to have expanded and doesnt slip inside itself very well.
