Amazing shotsBit of a grey start to this morning but it should turn into a perfect day for a short boat ride (might take on some fuel first)
The next five days are going to be dead calmIncredible the difference 200Km makes, quite windy and cool here today although the sun poked it's face out for a few minutes now and again.
Our forecast is for lighter winds and sunny but still sub 10°C during the day.The next five days are going to be dead calm![]()
Sunny and 15...but it should feel a lot hotterOur forecast is for lighter winds and sunny but still sub 10°C during the day.
Are you not in a valley, that’s always a problem baking hot in summer and damp in winter a bit like Ourense here in GaliciaOur forecast is for lighter winds and sunny but still sub 10°C during the day.
Last time at the dentist she put a thickish card in my mouth, a minute later there was a full 3d x-ray of my mouth... all done by BluetoothBeen to the dentist...and after lunch we will take the boat out.
Dentistry today is amazing...first you go in because of a broken tooth and get a temporary filling and an appointment for a crown. Because of the advancements in material science, the temporary filling is as good as a new tooth (remember when they use to fall out when you take your first bite ?)....the visit for the crown is also extraordinary....the injection doesn’t hurt at all...and while it’s unpleasant having a drill in your mouth there is no actual pain...then instead of taking a mold in putty...a camera goes in your mouth and a million photos later there is a perfect model of your mouth on screen... and instead of that digital mold going to a technician to make your crown which arrives back in a week...the image goes straight to a miniature CNC milling machine (his is kept in the waiting room so you can see your tooth being formed)...12 minutes later your perfect crown is lying on the bottom of the milling machine. It then gets put in with hi tech adhesives...and Bob’s your uncle....a new crown in one visit !...I wonder what happened to all those dental technicians who used to make crowns![]()
