I am looking for some wheels for a small inflatable dinghy. I want ones that can easily be removed so I can roll it up and tie it on deck. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have a set of Beachmaster wheels on a Zodiac. These are made in New Zealand and you get them shipped from there. Not the cheapest but great quality and totally removable leaving only 8 bolts (4 each wheel) which they slip onto. I'm very please with them. Downside they are not cheap but there are I think some cheaper (presumably chinese) copies available.

I have a set of these, work well on a 2.7m dingy and allow it to be rolled up with them in place.
Easy to pop up once afloat or to drop into place just before you arrive at the slip.

The springs weren't good enough quality, so they corroded and broke, but that doesn't affect their usability noticeably. I roll up the dinghy to put it away without a problem.
Those Beachmasters look nice, but I'd far rather pay £35 than over £200!

+1 for the folding wheels above. Secondhand Plastimo ones and work well on smooth/small pebble surfaces. Dinghy still folds for deck storage without removal. Revelation for singlehanded landing.

I too have those mentioned above and they are really helpful and robust. They click into three positions, down, level and up. This leaves them behind them between the sponsons, but, when you deflate and roll the dinghy, they’re flat enough not to prevent a reasonable tight roll of the dinghy. Got to be ten years old now. Not much to go wrong and such a bonus.

We have the same but they add 150mm to thickness of transom if rolling up.

I've got these Railblaza C-Tug Dinghy Wheels | Force 4 Chandlery
Nicely made and the wheel is a nice diameter. They are a bit big for my dinghy, as when down they are deep enough to keep the outboard prop away from the seabed. Havent used them to much as only fitted during 1st lockdown.. work very well on soft sand and grass !

Just a note of caution. The plastic folding ones totally suck on anything but concrete or very hard sand. If you’re planning on pulling up onto beaches then I’d seriously recommend some with proper tyres. Bigger and not as compact but way more effective.

Another vote for the beach master wheels. There are some uk importers now, even on eBay. The ones goldie showed are the beach master wheels, imported by the uk seller.

I did wonder - they look much the same as mine, but a friend bought some and there’s no mention of the ‘Beachmaster‘ name as there is on my label.

I have used these for 20 + years. Cheap and effective, if you dont mind pushing your dinghy upside down.
Once launched,they go into the car.
Bought mine from H2O Kyak, but I see they dont stock them now.

Cheaper still! I’ve had my Beachmasters a few years now and imported them from NZ as there was no U.K. or even European distributor of the same or similar at the time. The ones in your link and mine look the same as the originals apart from the labelling but I really couldn’t say either way. Being a cynic though, I’d wonder why my NZ sourced ones have a Beachmaster label and the others don’t. If we were able to compare properly and found quality the same, I wouldn’t be paying extra for the label!
+1 for the removable solution for ease of stowage, maintenance and ability to use with another dinghy.

We have these on our dinghy currently and have found them adequate at best. The slip we have to use to access our mooring is made very rough course, there is often rocks strewn all over it. This is the weakness of these types of wheels. We will be going with larger wheels, which give a greater ground clearance
