Yes they must be sister ships, even though it looks like they have had different owners at some time.

Anyway, to not prolong things, the place is Ship Cove, Queen Charlotte Sound, NZ. Thought it would have been easy given previous posts, but I suspect Brendan, Robb, knew it.

Just so you can see that it is often sunny there too

Yep, once you posted the Cook memorial pic I was sure, hence the cruise boat clue, as Ships Cove is on their itinerary for cruises in NZ

I always think that it is a pity about the memorial as it is not of particularly great quality and the man is deserving of more. A nice lump of marble or something perhaps.

It's amazing how many memorials he has, some poor, some very good.This guy has been cataloguing them, though not complete.

I guess the Ship Cove memorial is one of the better in reality, though I've only seen it in pictures
