Very pleasant at sea but I don't think I'd want to spend much time there , and if the local racing fleet was anything to go by they didn't enjoy it much either , although crossing all the TSS's to get there and back was quite enjoyable
Sorry Bill but no , it's definately along the English Channel if that helps
Seems to be remarkably few that have actually crossed the channel from the number of responses , although I do know that the group we sailed with are keeping quiet because it's no fun if you saw it a few days ago as it doesn't give those that only hope to cross a chance
only a guess, looks a bit similar to dublin from one aspect, but then my position at moment is 10.58.32N 63.49W /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif and cant quite see dublin or the channel from here so i go into google earth..........naw i have another /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Putting the wrong name as a picture title is not playing cricket. I was convinced that the cloud formation indicated Middlesborough but you miss-led me. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Simon did indeed get it , but he answerred the question with a question then promptly followed with another question and didn't take the hint that he had got it right /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif so Dunkirk , or Dunkerque , it is /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif at last , a straight answer /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I'm sure LS will be along any minute with an appropriate ( or inappropriate ) selection of tasty morsels to whet the appetite along the lines of humps and facilities etc.
