Spot on. The weekend was the Largs Regatta weekend, and I managed to get this pretty "atmospheric" shot of this sportsboat. They were flying along, and gybed several times backwards and forwards.

They were extremely busy keeping the thing under control. We were having a beer I think...

It is a Cork 1720, which was flying along. Pity how a photo rarely captures the speed of these things.

Saw 25 knots when I was aboard a 1720 in April this year.

4/5 people on board, a gusts hits and they just take off... At one point they had the kit up and we were wallowing because it was too tight for us. They must have been doing at least twice our speed!

Thought it might be a 1720 couldn't really tell from the pic but the lack of guard wires and bowsprit should have confirmed it.. Sailed a couple of races in the FYC Autumn series this year on a 1720 but never got to experience it on the plane.
