Probably discussed already, but couldn't see it. When can I organise for 2 friends, from different households, to join me on a small boat - A for day-sailing; B for overnighting?

Don’t forget if one of your friends is in a bubble with you they count as your household.

I posted this in another thread but quicker to re-post. This is for Englandshire.

Although, bear in mind, that is only guidance. From Monday 29th March, the Regulations (and those are what create the legal obligations) impose no restrictions on staying away from your home so long as you do so alone, with members of your own household or with members of any ‘linked household’. You can therefore quite lawfully stay on your boat and not be in breach of any restriction under the Regulations despite the unhelpful and rather misleading reference in that guidance ‘No Overnight Stays’. There’s also no requirement in the Regulations to ‘stay local’.

Summary of the current legal position is set out here: Easter Boating?
