A tape measure, and improvised lead line. For sure they'll tell you depth is calibrated to below the keel, but best check.

Yus... inventories of charter boats are usually pretty good.
what to take:

Hat's
Hand held GPS - one that you are used to. My Magellan goes everywhere with me.
Get a pilot of the area before hand, I am sure Rod Heikell will have one.
Books to read with the wine in the cockpit for the evening.
