Over & Out on the back page of MBM. Just got back from Poole, couldn't take the boat 'cos I was taking the caravan down for the summer. So sitting there on the banks of the Frome at wareham supping my pint (the pub had beer so Aztec must have been at work!) reading through the usual plethora of adverts, I turned to the back page. What! no Over & Out, just a page of "readers tips". Then it dawned on me, that Jake gezzer has gone over to Povertysticken Boat Owner. So no cartoons or the usual slightly amuzing pics with the accompanying captions or funny'ish stories.

Whose idea was that then. Could've kept that and added the "tips" somewhere else and dropped a page of ads! Must admit that this is the first copy of the mag that I've bought for a year or so. Not bad, but I think I'll save my £3.40 for petrol in the future, it'll buy enuff juice to get me from the slip to the end of the river next week.

Thanks for your comments. I am listening and I will take them on board. However, Over and Out was Jake's baby and without his cartoons and inimitable sense of humour it would be hard to do the page justice.
I am hard at work scheming up a suitable replacement. In the meantime if you can keep supplying us with the raw material in the forms of pictures and club room tales that helped keep Over and Out so lively I will endeavour to make sure we publish them

Thank for listening! And 'we' will try to keep the silly pictures rolling in, I think Byron could help there!
