My wife and I are shortly moving to France. We were going to take our 23' grp cruising sloop, but my wife can see the advantages of a bigger boat. ( Being able to stand up, a double bunk , more comfort etc etc 
Our budget after selling the present boat will be about £15000.
We would like :
Reasonable sailing performance
Easily manageable for two
Standing headroom for me (6'2")
A double bunk ( preferably permanently made up )
Mast on tabernacle for easy lowering raising
We would like to cruise the west coast ( La Rochelle , Morbihan ) and also the Canal du midi.
What types / classes of boat would readers recommend that would fit the bill ?
