Befor anybody else gets in - He deserved it. It is just more proof that he is nothing more than a thug and if he wasn't a footballer he would have at least an ASBO if not detained at her majesties pleasure.

Why we persist in inflating the ego's of thugs and simpletons is beyond me.

I hope England realise they don't need this <span style="color:black">dick</span>head to win matches - but I fear there is such hype around him the team, will as usual, fall apart.

stamped on his opponent's b**ls. he was trying to hold on to the ball against two Portugese and ended up with his foot in a player's groin. Don't know whether it was his injured foot or not.
