I have a 1997 Moody with black plastic (PVC?) water tanks. Presumably instead of baffles the tanks have a V indent at the top. One of the tanks has developed a leak at the bottom corner of the V. Has anyone any ideas on how to repair?

Many years ago we used to repair punctured plastic footballs with the back of a hot spoon, melting the plastic over the hole. Might be a problem getting into the bottom of your V. How about one of those hot melt glue guns?

Try a soldering iron or an electric rope cutter/sealer to melt the plastic over the hole, the only other way is to use gelcoat to seal it up.
If the hole is a bit big apply the gelcoat to a piece of polythene, lay it over the hole and when it has set peel off the polythene, give it a second (or even third coat) of gelcoat and then apply a few layers of fiberglass. don't put the fibreglass straight over the hole as apparently this can make the water taste funny.

If this doesn't work drink beer instead ! !

If it is a small pin hole leak, drill hole in the centre of the hole and insert a self tapping screw. I have seen this done on lorry diesel tanks with 100% success...........

If its a hard tank get it welded. An agent for pioneer boats should be able to point you in the right direction.
