I have two black water tanks on the two toilets in my Bavaria, the sensors are a bigger pile of carp than the stuff in the tanks, they need to be left disconnected or permanently flag the tank as being full. I've taken them out, cleaned them, cleaned the tank around where they are fitted, but to no avail. It seems as soon as they get any crud or moisture on them, they show the tank as full. I have other friends with the same sensors and the same problem. I don't need the panel monitoring as I have other devices capable of displaying tank levels so ....
Does anyone know of any alternative sensors that are reliable in black water tanks? The tanks are tall and narrow, tapering towards the bottom ... a bit like this, sensor visible on the top.
