And can I be the editor. In charge of gramer, shpellings and above all. What Kim is allowed to say, and not, with a big padlock thingy. Cos theres got to be somebody about to stop all this mayhem. Also Officer of health, there to stop all this heart attack stuff. Kim should from here on, be made to carry a health warning!

.....how can you be the 'first forum user'? Presumably there is no one else there if you are the first so there is at that time no forum....no-one else to look or read or reply......presumably not even a lurker to lurk on your lonely status?

I am an eavesdropping raggie so expect I'll get short shrift. I see Kim's point and have been thinking about putting the suggestion to him in relation to the R to R forum. My problem is time and money - or rather the lack of it. I enjoy the jokey bits, which are usually funnier on MBT, but appreciate that the real reason for establishing the named forums is to provide a means of sharing knowledge.

Quite often someone posts a serious thread only to see it hi-jacked by a couple, or more, of users who turn it into a long running (in terms of number of posts) joke. Could we not use the named forums like Channel 16. If a thread prompts a joke then, after the initial joke being posted on the named channel, others could transfer the joke to a chat channel, leaving the original thread to serious use.
