I’ve a bit of an update .
Last week I went to a boat 74L 430 one engine dead , no crank fault code 9.9 means ECU fault . Ordered ECU was told a 3 week lead time , it turned up this morning at my supplying dealer . Looks like Volvo have actually been pro active .

May I ask what dealer you ordered from ? In Sweden I checked with dealer today on existing order placed in February - the reply is still "not until Q4" - it is a 72p though., but presumably same box but different SW.

Maybe you ordered as "empty" box from the VP programming service and got it programmed for the 74 ?

I sent them my broken one for testing. Never saw it again, despite chasing.

I like coastal rides but they are the most disorganised company I have come across.

stock is randomly placed across several sheds and about half the time they can’t find what you have bought.

+1 re CR,

I've bought lots of stuff from them before brexit, trick is not to be after something specific that has to match something else you already have and is broken ?
Shopping from them is generally a bargain as in many cases I've ordered/paid for something only not to find the exact something and do some massive free upgrades to honour the sale (like buy a 100quid item and eventually offer a 300+ one instead as they couldn't find the other)

Fingers crossed VP have finally addressed and solved this issue.
Do recall a unit being "reprogrammed" by CR some time ago, which at the time seemed to solve the problem.
Later report that the same fault reappeared some time later .
