I have a cooling water problem,
some weeks ago I open a block in the gearbox with 9% salt acid,
now I got water going through the water pump and reaching the input of the engine,

But no water is coming out through the output of the engine to the exhost.

There is no blopck in the engine block itself ,as I pumped air in the input and I felt it coming out.
It seems that there is not enough power in water to go all the way from the input
to the output on the engine,

thanks for the help solving my cooling problem.

I've got an MD2, which is quite similar in many respects, except that there is no cooling jacket on the gearbox (and the bore is less). Assuming that the impeller is OK, the water must surely go somewhere. Is the impeller housing very worn, so that it is not operating effectively? Is the thermostat OK? (I had to replace mine, which had "died" in the open position). Is the problem in the engine at all? There might be a lot of weed blocking the intake, or the hose might be crushed?

I am no expert at all, and am at a bit of a loss. Hope someone who knows more can help.
