Volvo MD17 Gearbox Problem

Does anyone please know of a reasonably priced source for a reconditioned gearbox for a Volvo MD17 engine (about 1981 vintage)? The defective gearbox is currently fitted in a Colvic 34.

Problem is that it will not come out of gear. Any ideas? Can anybody offer a low cost rebuild service?

Any recommendations?
