How many were there?
About15-10 years ago i used to RO them at Portland. Set them off once for a long distance race out of the harbour to a buoy off Bowcleaves and along coast to Lulworth in Ne 20+ its. The 2 sail reach was awesome and the run back to the Harbour was full of wet dips! Averaged 27.6kts I think

Hi - I think there were 7 boats competing at the weekend including one from Germany and one from Hungary.

Plenty of great footage from the Australian 18 Footers League here: http://www.18footers.com.au/sailing/tv/2016-17. Their season starts again on 8 October, they usually have live coverage.
