Re: Vibration puzzle....could be...

Hi Suzanne... sorry I missed you at the TVR, blame God and the Floods for that. Mebbe next year? No it ain't me gearbox but fanx for the thought :)
Ask yer pop if he fancies coming up wiff his boat to my house weekend after next, there's an ODCC sailpast here which he might enjoy, in fact everyone who wants to come is welcome just let me know. Moorings as ever are free I will have to find out the if there's grub laid on and the cost though.

Re: Vibration puzzle....could be...

Morning Byron This is POP on his way up to bonny Scotland. Thanks for the invite but we wont be able to make it. Bought a new boat and keeping it in Brighton for a bit.
Sorry to hear about your vibration. I know it sounds daft but have you thought about some thing like the generator or another piece of equipment vibrating in sympathy with the engines. Long shot I know but stranger things etc.

Great to hear from you again see you soon

Hi Byron just getting used to this posting job, anyway here is one to try,the crank pulley is a vibration damper, I recently had to remove one on a 435 with 61a's to renew the seal, if it has been removed before someone may have damaged the pulley, it has a rubber centre Volvo say that the correct tools must be used to remove it , good luck Paul
