VAT waived on fuel for air ambulances and inshore rescue boats!!!

Ok how do you get registered as an Inshore rescue boat - I've towed a few people in over the years that must count surely....

I was thinking the same lines,............. Pot of yellow paint for the hull and some big red stick on letters saying RESCUE might do the trick!

I think it's outrageous - just because some folk go around rescuing people the are vat exempt, it's disgusting.

…actually I couldn't believe they were not vat exempt in the first place
