US Boat - Unique Situation

There is no such thing as a "Direction Exemption certificate". You have been sold a document from an unscrupulous seller that has no legal value.
Even ceeprof says:
"The Directive Exemption Certificate is not a legal document."

I have never heard of "ceeprof".
The Direction Exemption Certificate was issued by CEproof, not the seller, unscrupulous or otherwise.
CEproof Direction Exemption Certificates are recognised by the EU Commission.
Clearly, there is such a thing.

I have never heard of "ceeprof".
My misspelling but it is from your own link to CEproof.
The Direction Exemption Certificate was issued by CEproof, not the seller, unscrupulous or otherwise.
It is CEproof that has sold you something that you don't need and that has no legal value.

"The Directive Exemption Certificate is not a legal document. It supports bona fide evidence."
CEproof Direction Exemption Certificates are recognised by the EU Commission.
No they are not and in the unlikely case that you have to prove that your boat is exempt from RCD YOU will have to prove it. The "exemption certificate" wont help you.
