Like most people I have reading matter in the loos at home and I was reading the report on the Phantom 40 - loverly boat - anyway - Why does it have two toilets and two showers - surely the space could be better used on a boat this size but it seems to be the trend !!!

Yes - I know we have 3 toilets in the house at home but theres loadsa space, however on board space is at a premium is it not ??

My new boat has two loos (wanted to call it Lautrec but swbmtb wouldnt agree.....)

Stop whinging, once youve had two loos you'll never be happy with only 1 again....and theres a special sort of one upmanship about it .........

Who wants to share their Pooper with someone else. I have always has two Poopers, one for me with nice paper and tastefully decorated. The other with torn up newspaper and the seat smeared with dried tea (for effect)

It could be argued that If there is a need for 2 toilets then the owners are full of it!

I think now is the time to make a tactical retreat and don a helmet.

As you are well aware, I have 3 boat toilets within a matter of feet of each other. There is, therefore, a much higher than usual statistical likelihood of you finishing up uncomfortably close to one if tha dusnt watch it.......!

Anway, if you have two loos you are much less likely to be full of it cos youve got twice the opportunity to get rid.../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I don't need help in that dept. Whatever I do I seem to end up to the earlobes in it.

Take the w/e. No plans so I go play in the Portland race and have a bit of fun fishing. Get home sunday mid morning and the other half is fuming. Well, it couldn't be my fault because I wasn't there! I still end up in the s**t even when its not my fault.

Not counting the sinks.....two boats moored on same pontoon, one with 1 loo and other with two /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
If I count sinks that goes up to 5 in total, s'pose add several buckets and a couple of jugs and.......oh, never mind.........Spoilt for choice really without even going outside........

Actually with the Boat and the Caravan on the drive and a bog in each that makes 5 !!!! The portapotti in the van is OK but dont fancy using the marine toilet on the Drive /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
The other day we worked out that with all the proper bed spaces in the house (doubles and singles) we could sleep 8 and with 5 on the boat and 5 in the caravan we could sleep errr 18. Sad init.... We gave up on trying to workout where we could make temporary beds.
