If I was in the market for a 'sea-worthy' offshore ~30 footer, what would be recommended in addition to the above? You can guess the price range from those I have mentioned.

Trintella 29 .Long keel cruiser with reasonable performance. As good as the ones you listed probably a bit cheaper.

Friend of mine circumnavigated in one. Seemed a lovely boat to me. It always managed very reasonable passage times in varied conditions.

My nice 8.5 ton Hillyard would do you just fine. Sails well, not close winded but good passages times with big rig, long waterline and autoprop. Motors well with big engine. As in PBO and www.kingsyacht.com
