There was a review in one of the magazines a few months ago.

I fitted the Glomex VT300 - Avior which has given me good reception on freeview over the last few months.

After a lengthy search i settled on a Supergain Ballade Omnidirectional Analogue Digital TV Antenna from Mailspeedmarine. The antenna is about the size a tennis ball but seems to work ok. I bought a 25mm rail mount at the same time and stuck it next to the gps on the stern.

I think the reason it can be so small and work is that the signal booster is built into the antenna, so no signal is lost down the coax. The antenna is powered by 'injecting' 12v into the coax.

I bought it purely on price, but really happy with its diminutive size and so far good performance.
