Turks Head

Bought a new hide wheel cover kit. Once fitted i intend to do a Turks Head Knot at TDC. But how do you do one..... Anybody suggest an idiots guide on the web.

It's a very easy knot. The art is in working it tight and hiding the 2 ends

It's very important that the cordage is just the right size so go and have a look at a few boats with Turks heads to get this right

If doing it with leather (old leather laces), would it help to have the leather wet beforehand? Would it pull into a tighter knot?
