I'm trying to set up a trailer to take a Shetland 535, it has rollers down the middle (keel rollers?) and some larger diameter rollers down the sides.

My questions is do I set up the side rollers to take the weight off the keel rollers or let the keel rollers take the weight?

TIA

Keel rollers take the weight. The construction of your boat will be heavy there - the side rollers are primarily to keep the boat upright on the trailer and stop it rocking - they obviously bear some of the load but it would be bad for the hull if it were hanging from them.
Indespension are good with advice.
hope this helps.

Claymore is quite correct. Only the keel will support the weight of the boat. Be very careful when recovering as much damage can be caused by side rollers if the hull is not central on the trailor. Sometimes the chines are reinforced or small bilge keels have been moulded in which can be used lor support.
