Trailer for solo

Help I need a trailer for the weekend to move a solo from outside Totnes to Dartmouth, the boat has a launch trolly . Have tryed to hire one(flat bed) no luck tryied to buy one (week or two) to get one. anyone know where I can hire or buy a trailer for the weekend. I live in Gloucestershire so anywhere between Glos and Totness close to M5 would be good.

It's a bit short notice but you could try http://www.solosailing.org.uk/fs/fs_list.asp and put a request on the notice board. Someone from the South Cerney Sailing Club may respond as there is a strong fleet of Solos on their lake . I only have a launching trolley for my Solo so can't help. Richard

How about puting it on a roof rack, I regularly tied the trolley to my roof rack for my firefly (70 KG), and then tie the whole lot on. The mast can usually tie on along side the trolley on the edge of the roof rack.
You will obviously need some helping hands and a decent roof rack Thule or Halfords equvalent and make sure that you tie the front of the boat down to an tow hook or sturdy point under the bumper, you'll be surprised at the lifting force from the boat.

Sorry to digress from the issue at hand but do any of you Solo owners know the luff and foot dimensions for the Solo sail?
