I am thinking of buying the Admiralty program 'TotalTide' for use on a laptop on the boat. Anyone had any experience or comments on it??

I use Tide Plotter from Belfield software and I'm very impressed. You may want to consider this as an alternative.

Lists all the slipways in the UK - useful in itself....
But if you click the nearest one to you, then in the window that opens click "Admiralty Tides" then a fab window opens showing a curve of tide heights, with some detailed tide info as well.....
And it's all for free....
