If you can find a copy of a book "OFFSHORE" by Capt John Illingworth, who designed the Top Hat , you will find a lines plan and a very good description.
Believe they were built by Aeromarine at Emsworth Hants, cold moulded and built as JOG racers. The next development of this boat was a boat called "Blue Charm" that was built as a Class 111 ocean racer. All these boats were developments of "Myth of Malham" ,light displacement and a reverse sheer were common to all three.

I wasn't aware that there was anything of that name in England. Plenty in Australia, though. Mine is a Mark 2, built 1979, fibreglass construction. I have a fairly detailed 1:25 layout sketch showing plan & side view, but nothing as detailed as building plans or specs. Are you really intending to build one? It's a nice little boat, but the accommodation is a bit on the "cosy" side by modern standards. What do you need to know?
