Toast on an induction hob?

There's normally a decent cafe somewhere, with an actual toaster if you're that desperate.
Personally I will enjoy toast at home and enjoy 'boat food' on the boat.
I don't see the point of making a great effort for a mediocre imitation of home-cooked toast.

I rarely eat toast anywhere but the good lady has to have hers. So, while i am trotting off to Les Petit Pains Ronds to get my croissants and a baguette for later in the day, she is toasting some pre-sliced rubbish she bought in the supermarket and spreading it with butter and MacKays Dundee Marmalade -
You can take the woman out of Scotland, etc

Given that he already has a boat capable of running an induction hob, the 'great effort' involves... buying a toaster.
