We don't have one (Trapper TS 240 trailer sailer). We were planning a trip to Windermere - didn't make it in the end. But can anyone tell us what the rules are about sea-toilets on inland waters - Windermere and Broads particularly?

And is it possible to hire chemical loos?
Thanks.

Chemical toilets (by which I assume you mean what we call "portapotties") are so cheap at sporting goods stores, camping supply stores, Walmart (or UK equivilant) etc that even if someone does rent them, buying would pay for itself in two trips. And for a boat the size of yours, for only occasional use on a lake or river that requires holding waste, that's what I'd do: buy one for use only when you need it.
