Story of a sealing/whaling voyage to the Arctic that goes wrong.

Some readers apparently found it a bit too violent.

I thought the book was okay.., not great, but a good read.

Apparently there is a TV series, but I don't know anything about it.

It was a TV series. A bit (lot) brutal in places and but it's main attraction was some decent Arctic photography. Which won't be in the book!
