Umm. Slight fly in the ointment. Last time I asked. Glasson said they were full. That was about six months ago.

I suspect tcm was suggesting leaving Gib early August to give you time to get up to cross Biscay by mid-August.

Yes, as below, i didn't mean you *must* go to gib, merely that biscay weather is likely beter early august than late, tho of course can vary.

Wasnt sure whether there was an issue with Gib later in August, or Biscay. Hopefully we will leave Lagos 2nd week of August, and arrive Falmouth 9 days or so later... weather windows permitting.

Spoken with Pantaenius.... they dont have a date after which you cannot cross Biscay. Also dropped my cover from £130k to £110k and the renewal dropped by £150. Well worth the call.

Next call is to Glasson Dock to see how the land lies. There is always Fleetwood, or I could keep her ashore.
