The adventures of a CLB.

What are you saying about Boatone?

Its just an image really,he will scrub up well and can look quite presentable on high days and holidays.Especially now that the CLB has running hot water again !
Why only recently he bought a very fetching hat from the chandlers, probably for this very reason.:)

That's just a disguise!

Aylsford Bridge below Allington Lock on the tidal Medway. 2.3 metres clearance at MHWS - had to wait until an hour after HW to get under without removing radome....

Fred is a member of Rochester Cruising Club who have their own Clubhouse and extensive pontoon moorings (inc fuel !) below Rochester Castle, ALso do mean grub - particularly F&C on Friday nights and the full monty roast on Sundays.
Understand Fred is waiting patiently to be allowed to sport a "blue" :D

Very nice meal at MYC and what a superb view of the reach from their clubhouse. Bit of a shock to find Oldgit so well behaved :D

Left it is for the weekend - that's back to the lower non-tidal (Mudway, that is!) so the mutt can have a pee which is difficult if "la clb" is hanging from a hook up the creek somewhere !

Left at 0700 and drove down thru the early morning mist with no one else awake, and back in Chatham marina by 1030.
Back home this afternoon as hols end today but leaving boat here a while longer.

You must have been in the bunch of 2 or 3 that were moored up a hundred yards down from the lock.
You couldnt have missed me i was the one that waited in the basin just below the weir for the missus to come down from the lock and my prop went crunch crunch on the rocks, investigation today revealed my depth transducer widget was bent up so was telling me porkies:eek:
To be honest its had several whacks since weve had it perhaps i should have looked at the depth gauge sooner!
