Hi all , after the sad loss of Nicho I am also reporting we have lost another long standing forum member “Switch” .
Terry passed away mid March , he was one of my long standing customers from the early days of this forum .
We must go back to the mid 2000 years when he had a Birchwood 370 with the KAD 300 in , he then moved to a Sealine S42 and lastly a Prestige 425 .
Terry worked in the electrical business for a Swedish company right up until retiring nearly 2 years ago , I last bumped into him at the Gosport Naval base area where he told me he was taking some training to join the Coast Watch team based in the building at the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour , we discussed his upcoming engine and IPS servicing and he explained that this job at Coast Watch was Voluntary and as he was now retired a worthwhile job .
Leading up to his recent engine service he was on holiday in Italy on Lake Como , we were exchanging a few watts app messages and photos as my wife had took me to the same town of Menagio , he sent me some video of him driving an old wooden Italian Launch .
Sadly that was the last I heard from him , his wife contacted me to break the news he passed away from a very short illness .
RIP my friend , life’s shorter than we all think it is.
