fair enuf. But even in marinas where no tides and not loads of wind (like port solent) there still wibbly wobbly main pontoons, plus very wobbly finger pontoons. This is partly cos uk boaties aren't used to the stern-to.
Mainly, tho i reckon cos its nice and cheap. Also, supply 10 poxy amps max as well, that's cheap too, even tho metered. And water all pathetic so it takes several hours to fill a tank, that's very cheap as well.
