Sea of Cortez

I am considering chartering in the Baha/Sea of Cortez region this summer. Does any one have any experience or knowledge of the type of weather to be expected there in August?

I spent five years in the Sea.

August would be quite hot,
some south wind, esp at night

With the possibility,
though not much likelyhood ,

of a hurricane.

Great snorkelling, fishing,
and
whales, dolphins, sea lions.
