Bought a satellite receiver from Maplins about £79. Can anyone tell me if its not used for a while does it go back to satellite Astral 19E the German one.? I set it to 28E about 3months ago and when I tried it today for first time I had to reset to 28E. Thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

AFAIK :

The Eurobird 19E and Astra 28E satellites are in different positions in the sky, so the dish would have to be moved to 'change' satellites.

Sorry I was enquiring about if the digital receiver loses its memory and goes back to factory setting ie 19E if left unpowered for some time.
