Re: A wally yacht

Have to admit Wally yachts are pretty amazing craft, and probably the ultimate singlehander with all the electronic winches etc. Only trouble is they start at around 67ft, and my marina could not cater for that size, and think about antifouling!.

Never heard of a Hutting, but visited the web site. Nice boats. I wouldn't mind the 40. The Americans do make some stunning looking yachts, which I don't think many English yotties are aware off. Have a look at some of these sites:

Sam Morse Yachts- www.samlmorse.com
Morris Yachts- www.morrisyachts.com
Hincley Yachts- www.thehinckleyco.com

Re: wally.com

I'd have Slingshot, the wally 67 which will just fit nicely, and will win the handicapped owner rallies on account of being a bit crap at sailing, but cheat heavily. Although if santa's paying for a bigger berth in the same marina, then Leander G will do, but any 100'+ Perini Navi sailboat a bit better, especially Liberty, the one wiv a 10m diameter automatic canvas circular cocktail party area deck bimini cover that automatically and very rudely rips its skirts off and self-stows down below at the touch of a button.
