Hi all, I live in the uk and have searched high and low, but cannot locate any rubber edging strip. It's for my boat and it goes around the bottom edges of all of the fibre glass inside the boat to finish it off aesthetically. It's about 25 mm (1 inch) high and curves round the fibre glass sheets which are roughly 8mm thick. It seems to have a wire structure inside the rubber, which means it can be squeezed and bent into the different shapes and contours as it snakes it's way around the boat.

Any leads to finding this strip would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Pity I'm in Latvia .... I have 20m of Rubber capping bought in error in my workshop.

You say it has metal wire inside it ... this keeps curves as you correctly surmised. But often this is not needed ... if you choose the strip wisely.

A good substitute is that sold to seal bottom edges of garage up and over doors ..... or as 'ash2020' shows .... my old fav Caravan shops !!
