The bit that gets me is the side windows under water. How it didn't overturn???
Because the centre of buoyancy, when it was at 90 degrees, was above the centre of gravity. How it didn't overturn???
Mmmmm I wonder what the AVS was with that loading, as looked heck of a close to what I would expect it might be. Possibly a close run thing, unless that is like a lifeboat designed to be self righting (assuming doors closed and windows intact)Because the centre of buoyancy, when it was at 90 degrees, was above the centre of gravity
Safehaven marine build some of their boats to be self righting. Its possibly this one thats going to somewhere really cold so comes with heated decks and handrailsHow it didn't overturn???
That would explain why they were so chilled in such extremes. The guy or the text specifically said on the video that it would self-right from 180 degrees.
… Does beg the question as to why a pilot boat would need such extreme capability - would be unable to transfer the pilot on or off a ship long before conditions got anything like that. …
