Re: GP 14 Upgrade

i thought a retro fitted flybridge and twin KADS
i did once put a 6 ft centre board on a mirror
should have seen it point.

casing gave way eventually about 3/4 way up the menai straights water started flooding in
happy days.

Re: But seriously though Steve

Believe there is a new 434 coming out which is basically a 411 with the deck layout of the 393/473, deep keel, big mast etc.

Essential Kit

Thats reminded me of absolutely essential bits of kit ... daggerboards ... one on each side ... and holes to fit them in. Ellen had them so they're obviously necessary to sail to ones potential. Do you reckon they're best retro fitted or during the manufacturing process?

Re: euroyot praise from Twister Ken???!!

He'll be praising the stability of a Legend next. Apparently he was seen admiring the Corian surfaces in the galley of the 356, and the useful hole in the bulkhead for the telly.

Re: euroyot praise from Twister Ken???!!

Not only that .. he was overheard asking about its handling characteristics when going astern. Said he was fed up with these old boats that would'nd do what they were told .... do you think he'll have the temerity to post asking what extras he should add ... or should we do it for him?

I suspect we should firstly advise a conversion course so as not to disorientate him. He'll also need a course of anti-biotics to clear up that trenchfoot problem, caused by years of living with a wet boat!

Nope, I tried to register this name, and I lost my own name/password. Cookie trouble I guess.

Re: BavbenjenKen

Hopefully he's ignored this thread by now. Steve is on the other end of the scale from Ken!

Re: But seriously though Steve

As a 411 owner for the past five years your comments are as perceptive as they are spot on but do you have to use the "caravan" word for such a good looking boat?

Och he's being complimentary, a caravan looks good when you're peering out the flaps of a trailer tent in the wind and rain!
